The invention provides a damping device for a bicycle/electric bicycle saddle. The damping device comprises an inner tube and an outer tube; a main spring, a spring seat, a piston, a damping spring and a guide plunger are orderly arranged in the inner tube; the inner tube is further filled with hydraulic oil; a central pull rod is arranged inside the outer tube; the lower part of the inner tube extends into the outer tube; the inner tube is capable of sliding along the outer tube; one end of the central pull rod is connected with a choke plug at the bottom of the outer tube, while the other end of the central pull rod extends into the lower end of the inner tube and is connected with the spring seat; the main spring is mounted on the spring seat; the lower end of the spring seat is connected with the piston by use of a connecting part; the damping spring is connected with the guide plunger; the piston, the damping spring and the guide plunger all sleeve the central pull rod; an oil seal is arranged at the lower end of the guide plunger; the upper end of the choke plug is connected with a cushion by use of a nut. According to the damping device, in the riding process and especially under bad road conditions, the impact force of the ground to a rider can be damped by direct use of the damping device connected with the saddle, and the rider can feel more comfortable in the riding process.
