A control system for a construction elevator is provided. Output AC of a main contactor is converted through a frequency converter to generate and output frequency variable power which drives the motor of the construction elevator to operate. Control of an electrical system of the construction elevator is realized without an independent PLC module or a special controller, and the problems of large size and high cost caused by the independent PLC module or the special controller can be solved. The control system of the construction elevator does not have to be wired with the independent PLC module or the special controller in the prior art, and problems of poor system reliability and installation debugging difficulties due to complex wirings can be solved. The control system of the construction elevator can be arranged only by adjusting the parameters of the frequency converter, and the subsequent maintenance of the control system of the construction elevator is realized. The problems of complex maintenance in the prior art can be solved.
