The invention relates to an angular momentum unloading method of a small-sized momentum wheel. The angular momentum unloading of the small-sized momentum wheel is carried out by adopting a magnetic torque on a satellite when the angular momentum is not saturated in the normal control period of the small-sized momentum wheel; when the angular momentum of the small-sized momentum wheel is saturated, the surplus angular momentum of the small-sized momentum wheel is unloaded in priority by utilizing a satellite platform momentum wheel; if the satellite platform momentum wheel is also saturated, the angular momentum is unloaded by utilizing an injection way by virtue of a thrustor on the satellite.
