The invention discloses an electromagnetic chuck buoy tank for displaying the location of an airplane rapidly after the airplane crashes into the ocean. A buoy tank metal box (1) containing a buoy (6) is installed inside the aircraft skin. The box (1) is equipped with an electromagnetic chuck (2). When the chuck is charged with electricity, a box cover plate (3) is absorbed by magnetic force. When the chuck is not charged with electricity, the chuck is demagnetized, and springs (10) at the bottom of the box push the buoy and the cover plate to be away from the buoy tank metal box (1) and surface. The buoy (6) is connected with a cord (7) in a buoy tank. By adopting the method, no matter how deep an airplane crashes into the ocean, the airplane can be found rapidly along the cord (7) through the buoy (6) floating on the water.
