The invention discloses a duct rotary wing aircraft. The rotary wing aircraft comprises power devices and at least one flying mechanism, wherein the flying mechanism comprises rotary wings, ducts and coanda effect bodies; the rotary wings are arranged in the ducts; the coanda effect bodies are arranged right under the rotary wings to be used for generating additional lifting force; the power devices are used for providing rotating power for the rotary wings in the flying mechanism. While in use, the rotary wings are driven by the power devices to rotate at a high speed in the ducts, and air currents under the rotary wings flow through the coanda effect bodies and finally flow to the lower part of the aircraft. The rotary wing aircraft disclosed by the invention is simple in structure and is convenient to use; the rotary wing aircraft can ensure the safety and the economy in use and has favorable flying controllabitity and stability.
