The invention discloses a sleeve type life saving device. The sleeve type life saving device comprises a sleeve body, a front end cap and a back end cap, wherein the front end cap and the back end cap are respectively connected with the front end and the back end of the sleeve body to form a sealing structure; a cabin door and a ventilation pipe are arranged on the sleeve body, the cabin door is arranged on the sleeve body and is hinged with the sleeve body, and the ventilation pipe is arranged on the top of the sleeve body. The sleeve type life saving device has the advantages that the life saving device is a rescue capsule with the sealing structure, persons in the rescue capsule can be ensured to smoothly breath, and outside summer sunlight or lower air temperature can be isolated, the survive time of the drowning persons is prolonged, and the rescue rate is increased; furthermore, a hanging ring is arranged on the sleeve type life saving device, so that the sleeve type life saving device can be quickly salvaged by a lifeboat.
