The invention relates to an automatic blocking device for a locomotive at an intersection of an underground transportation main haulage roadway of a coal mine. The automatic blocking device comprises an electric locomotive overhead line. The electric locomotive overhead line comprises a straight roadway overhead line on a straight roadway and an oblique roadway overhead line on an oblique roadway. The straight roadway overhead line and the oblique roadway overhead line are connected with a power supply. A first inductor is arranged at the front end of the intersection between the straight roadway and the oblique roadway and is located in the straight roadway. A second inductor is arranged at the front end of the intersection between the straight roadway and the oblique roadway and is located in the oblique roadway. A third inductor is arranged at the rear end of the intersection between the straight roadway and the oblique roadway and is located in the straight roadway. The first inductor, the second inductor and the third inductor are connected with a control end. By the adoption of the structure, the transportation efficiency of the locomotive on the main haulage roadway is improved; the structure is simple, the technique is advanced, the functions are complete, movement is flexible, the performance is reliable, and maintenance is convenient; in addition, the audible and visual alarm function and the display function are achieved, transportation accidents of the locomotive on at the intersection of the main haulage roadway are eliminated, the safety of people is ensured when people go through the the intersection of the main haulage roadway, and losses are reduced.
