The invention discloses a self-adaptive impedance matching technology and a self-adaptive impedance matching method applicable to an electric car wireless power supply system based on the electromagnetic coupling, and belongs to the field of wireless power supply. The method comprises the steps of self-adaptively adjusting the number of turns of secondary coils in an input/output end impedance matching circuit by adding a control network, rapidly searching an optimum number of turns of the secondary coils by adopting a genetic algorithm, monitoring the variation situation of current on the input/output end by virtue of numerical sampling, and judging whether the impedance matching is achieved or not. By utilizing the method, the input/output end impedance matching can be rapidly realized, and the maximum transmission efficiency of the wireless power supply system can be realized.
