The invention discloses a sidewalk traffic light based on solar energy. The sidewalk traffic light based on the solar energy comprises a supporting column installed on the ground. The sidewalk traffic light based on the solar energy is characterized in that a manual switch is arranged on the supporting column, a display screen is arranged on the upper portion of the supporting column, the manual switch controls the display screen, and a solar panel is arranged on the top of the supporting column. The sidewalk traffic light based on the solar energy has the advantages that due to the fact that the solar panel is used for collecting electric energy, the consumption of electric energy is reduced; large-scale installation can be conveniently conducted, the cost is low, the sidewalk traffic light based on the solar energy can be widely used on small streets of cities, and the safety and the smoothness of the integral traffic of the cities are improved.
