The invention relates to an electrically driven main speed reducer which comprises a motor (9) and a main speed reducer body (1). The main speed reducer body (1) is located above the motor (9) and comprises bevel gears and a secondary planet speed reducing mechanism, the bevel gears comprise the input bevel gear (3) and the output bevel gear (4), and an output shaft of the motor (9) is directly and fixedly connected with the input bevel gear (3); on one hand, the input bevel gear (3) transmits the power and the rotation speed from the motor (9) to a main rotor wing shaft (2) through the planet speed reducing mechanism, and on the other hand, the input bevel gear (3) is meshed with the output bevel gear (4) and transmits the power and the rotation speed of the motor (9) to a tail transmission shaft (10) through the output bevel gear (4). According to the electrically driven main speed reducer, the structure of the motor and the structure of the main speed reducer body are more compact, and the transmission efficiency is higher; according to the secondary planet gear transmission mode, the boundary dimension and the inertia moment of the speed reducer are reduced, and the carrying capacity level of a helicopter is improved.
