An electric ship contra-rotating propeller propelling device whole and stern tube structure is respectively mounted in a cabin and underwater; and a stern tube has an environment-friendly lubricating oil water lubrication motor as a main frame to directly drive a gear box with a transmission ratio of 3: 1-40: 1, and is combined with a high-efficiency and energy-conservation contra-rotating propeller to form the most advanced ship propelling system in the world capable of realizing zero emission (or low carbon emission), according with the national energy and environmental protecting policy and suitable for various types and powers. As the motor has advancing, reversing and variable-frequency speed adjusting functions, the gear box only has two functions of speed reduction and power shunting; and parts in the box are all symmetrically arranged, the motor linearly transfers power from the gear box to two contra-rotating propellers. Therefore, the structure is simpler, compact, stable in operation and low in noise, and has the capacities of automatic adjusting adaptation and overload protection. A simplest hydraulic cooling mode is adopted to guarantee the working safety and reliability of the gear box and the stern tube. The energy saving value can reach 15-20%; the navigational speed and the propelling efficiency are improved by 10-12%; and the structure is the most environment-friendly and the most ideal scheme of updating and upgrading of the modern ship propelling.
