The invention relates to a muck vehicle overload leakage prevention device and method. The device comprises a ground sensing coil and a signal projector, inclined plates, a lifting plate, a signal receiving module and a control module, wherein the ground sensing coil and the signal projector are arranged on the ground of a construction site exit/entrance, the inclined plates are arranged at the tops of the inner side wall faces of the periphery of a carriage, the lifting plate is arranged in the peripheral side wall of the carriage, and the signal receiving module and the control module are arranged on a vehicle. The inclined plates obliquely and upwards incline towards the interior of the carriage. When the muck vehicle leaves the construction site, the signal receiving module receives ground sensing coil signals, and then the control module controls the lifting plate to ascend; when the muck vehicle drives into the construction site, the signal receiving module receives the ground sensing coil signals, then the control module controls the lifting plate to descend. According to the muck vehicle overload leakage prevention device and method, the problems of the muck vehicle overload and pollution to the roads by sandy soil are solved through the inclined plates and the lifting plate on the carriage.
