The invention discloses an automatic parking guidance system for a parking lot. The automatic parking guidance system comprises a parking space detection device, a controller, a parking-lot parking space management system and a parking-lot LED display screen, wherein the parking space detection device is mounted on a parking space, used for detecting the vehicle information on the parking space, and electrically connected with the controller; the controller is used for receiving the data information of the parking space detection device and sending the data information to the parking-lot parking space management system and electrically connected with the parking-lot parking space management system; the parking-lot parking space management system is used for receiving the parking space detection information sent by the controller and marking the information on a parking lot topographic map and electrically connected with the parking-lot LED display screen; the parking-lot LED display screen is used for receiving the parking lot topographic map sent by the parking-lot parking space management system and the parking space information on the topographic map and prompting a driver to find an empty parking space according to the parking space information. The automatic parking guidance system solves the problems that the parking lot is mainly managed by workers in the prior art; when the driver parks, the driver needs to drive to find the empty parking space; as a result, the parking speed is low, the efficiency is low, and the time of the driver is wasted.
