The invention relates to the field of lift equipment, and discloses a steel tape lift. The two sidewalls of a car are connected with two rails in a rolling manner through rolling guide shoes, certain gaps exist between the two sidewalls of the car and the two rails, two groups of steel tape guide pulleys are evenly arranged at both ends of the roof of the car and by both sides of the perpendicular bisector of the roof, so that a plurality of steel tapes reeving the guide pulleys can be evenly distributed by both sides of the perpendicular bisector of the roof of the car, and moreover, when moving up and down, the car cannot impact the rolling guide shoes fixed at the same side of the two rails. Compared with the certain eccentricity between a plurality of steel tapes and the perpendicular bisector in the prior art, the steel tape lift can ensure the stability of the car in the process of moving up and down; since the distances between the steel tapes and the two rails are relatively shortened, the running of the car is more stable; the introduction of the rolling guide shoes changes the sliding motion of the car on the two rails into rolling motion, consequently, friction is decreased, the running noise of the lift is reduced, and because lubricating oil does not need to be applied in the rails, the lift is more low-carbon and environment-friendly.
