The invention discloses a hook slide prevention mechanism which comprises a ''horizontally-reversed-n-shaped'' hook main body and a lever group arranged on the hook main body, the hook main body comprises an upper transverse rod, a lower transverse rod and a vertical rod, and the lever group comprises a pin shaft, a trigger button and a lever with a hook, the pin shaft and the lower transverse rod are in a same horizontal plane and perpendicular to each other, the lever with the hook is provided with an upward tilted bent hook protection end and a force application end which is connected with a trigger button, the middle part of the lever with the hook and the pin shaft are hinged and perpendicular to each other, the protection end is away from the vertical rod, and the trigger button is arranged on the lower transverse rod and can slide on the lower transverse rod up and down. The invention discloses the hook slide prevention mechanism, by addition of a lever group on the lower transverse rod of the hook, a bent hook is upward tilted on the terminal end of the hook when the hook transports steel coils, and the bent hook can provide an operator adequate response time to effectively avoid accidents of steel coil moving from the hook caused by operation failure or too many steel coils. The hook slide prevention mechanism can be used for a steel processing factory.
