The invention discloses a locking device for connecting modular buoyancy boxes used for an ocean platform. The locking device comprises two pins, a locking plate, an upper positioning plate and a lower positioning plate. The pins are welded to the side of one buoyancy box, and the upper positioning plate and the lower positioning plate welded to the side of the other buoyancy box are used for containing the locking plate and can vertically move the locking plate. When the pins are inserted into the locking plate through open holes in the upper positioning plate and the lower positioning plate, the locking plate only needs to be moved downwards, the locking plate is clamped into grooves of the pins, the two buoyancy boxes can be connected together, the situation that the two buoyancy boxes are connected together in a traditional welding mode is avoided, the construction accuracy of the ocean platform is greatly improved, transport is convenient, and the locking device can be suitable for operation of the height-permitted sea area of a cross-sea bridge. In addition, the manufacturing process of the pins and the locking plate is simple, cost is low, and cost can be effectively controlled.
