A metal cord (30), rubberized in situ with a rubber composition (32, 34), comprises a styrene-butadiene copolymer comprising: a proportion of styrene units of between 25% and 35%, limits included, by weight of the total weight of the copolymer, and a proportion of trans-1,4- bonds of between 73% and 83%, limits included, by weight of the total weight of the butadiene part of the copolymer.
