A floatable building structure used for an island reef is composed of a building structure part, a hull foundation part and an anchor chain. The building structure part comprises an upper building structure body and a bottom bay box body. The hull foundation part comprises a foundation bay box type bottom plate, an outer wall box body, an inner wall box body, a self-adjustment lifting wave prevention box, electromagnetic valves and inclined struts, the outer wall box body, the inner wall box body and the bottom plate are welded or poured into an integrated foundation cabin pool, the self-adjustment lifting wave prevention box is located between the inner wall box body and the outer wall box body, and the electromagnetic valves are arranged at the bottom of the inner wall box body and the bottom of the outer wall box body. The building structure part is connected with the hull foundation part through the anchor chain. The floatable building structure used for the island reef has the advantages that the building structure can float in an environment approximating stagnant water, the building structure is located in a hull structure, and the building structure and the hull structure can be integrally built on the shore side and integrally towed on the sea; after the building structure and the hull structure arrive at the island reef, the hull structure sinks and makes contact with the foundation surface of the island reef, and the building structure floats in the hull structure and is suitable for the island reef with an area which is shallowly submerged in water.
