The invention discloses a method for lifting ship aluminum alloy segments by the adoption of steel lifting rings. The method comprises 1, the step of fabrication and installation of the steel lifting rings, wherein an external square steel filling plate is arranged on a deck or at the outer side of a ship side, an internal square steel filling plate is arranged at a corresponding position below the deck or at the inner side of the ship side, the external square steel filling plate and the internal square steel filling plate are connected through bolts, and the steel lifting rings are welded to the external square steel filling plate; 2, the step of arrangement of lifting points of the lifting rings, wherein the lifting points are arranged in the middles of a main cross beam and a reinforcing rib of the deck, particularly at the one fourth positions of width faces, at the two sides of a T-shaped cross beam, of the deck, or the lifting points are arranged at the two sides of a reinforcing rib at the bottom of a segmented ship side. By means of the method, the problem that aluminum alloy cannot be welded to steel directly is solved, the bolts are used for connection so that the lifting can have sufficient strength, the assembly and the detachment can be conducted, the universality, the safety and the practicality are achieved, and the method has application and popularization values.
