The invention provides a rotatable panel handrail of an escalator. The rotatable panel handrail of the escalator comprises a handrail shell, a hinging pillar and a connecting pillar which are perpendicular to the inner wall of an escalator car are designed at the two ends of the handrail shell respectively, the hinging pillar enables the handrail shell to be hinged to the inner wall of the escalator car, the handrail shell can rotate on the inner wall of the escalator car along the hinging pillar, an operation panel is designed on the front face of the handrail shell, the connecting pillar of the handrail shell is fixedly connected with the inner wall of the escalator car through a connecting plate, and a horizontal plate, an inclined plate and a vertical plate are designed at rotating positions of the connecting pillar; assembling pins capable of locking the connecting pillar are assembled on the horizontal plate, the inclined plate and the vertical plate respectively. The panel handrail integrates an escalator panel and a handrail body, and meanwhile is assembled at a needed angle facilitating convenient rotation.
