The invention discloses a lunar surface landing buffering device. The lunar surface landing buffering device comprises a landing cabin, main landing legs, foot pads, igniting separating structures and unfolding mechanisms. One end of each main landing leg is installed on the lateral side of the landing cabin through a universal joint, the other end of each main landing leg extends out of the bottom face of the landing cabin, each main landing leg is of an inner-outer cylinder structure, a certain gap exists between each inner cylinder and a corresponding outer cylinder, and each inner cylinder and the corresponding outer cylinder can relatively slide. Each foot pad is installed at the end of the corresponding main landing leg and used for being in contact with the lunar surface during landing. The middle of each main landing leg is connected with the landing cabin through the corresponding ignition separating structure and used for limiting movement of the main landing leg and enabling the main landing leg to be in the folded state; each unfolding mechanism is further arranged between the corresponding main landing leg and the landing cabin and used for pushing the main landing leg to be in the unfolded state after the corresponding ignition separating structure is opened. The lunar surface landing buffering device can be used for manned lunar exploration and additionally suitable for landing device exploration of small planets, the Mars, comets and the like.
