The invention provides a braking distance measurement compensating method. The method includes the steps of measuring a distance signal of a distance between a vehicle and another in front, through long-range radar; converting foot force of a driver into a braking electrical signal through a pressure sensor connected to a brake pedal; converting the distance signal and the braking electrical signal from an analog form to a digital form by an A/D (analog/digital converter); comparing the distance signal and the braking electrical signal by a comparator in a single-chip microcomputer, compensating the braking electrical signal according to a comparison result, and outputting a braking compensation signal; controlling engine braking and brake pad braking according to the braking compensation signal by a braking control system.
