The invention provides a seat safety belt tensioning method which is suitable for a seat pretensioner. The pretensioner comprises sensors and an electronic winder. The seat safety belt tensioning method comprises the following steps that a first sensor and a second sensor are arranged on a rear bumper at an interval being 60mm, and used for detecting the distance to, the approaching angle of and the speed of a rear vehicle; signals output by the first sensor and the second sensor are converted into digital forms by an A/D converter; a single chip microcomputer is connected to the output end of the A/D converter, distance signals output by the first sensor and the second sensor are collected in real time, the distance signals are analyzed, the vehicle speed is measured according to the time interval, and a pre-warning signal is given out; waist-shoulder safety belts of front seats are tensioned by the electronic winder according to the pre-warning signal; a warning sound is given out through a speaker according to the pre-warning signal.
