The invention discloses a remote crane monitoring and maintaining system based on the internet of things. The remote crane monitoring and maintaining system comprises a remote test and control platform, a remote data service center connected with the remote test and control platform and a receiving terminal connected with the remote data serve center. The remote test and control platform comprises a sensor, a node of the internet of things and a control server, wherein the sensor is arranged on the crane, the node of the internet of things is connected with the sensor, and the control server is connected with the node of the internet of things. The remote crane monitoring and maintaining system is simple in structure, rapid and convenient to use and capable of remotely collecting and analyzing relevant data of the crane in real time and effectively achieving active maintenance; compared with manual operation, the remote crane monitoring and maintaining system is more convenient and rapid to maintain, can effectively save labor and physical resources and effectively improve the maintenance precision, improves the maintenance and overhaul efficiency and is good in applicability and practicability.
