The invention provides a passenger conveying device. In order to deal with relative displacement between two passageways of a passenger conveying device, including story drift of an upper floor and a lower floor, the device comprises plates used for floor, the plate sliding on the floor of a building side. The device can deal with a condition that the relative displacement between two passageways is large, and can reduce height difference of the plates used for floor. The end of at least a part of a main frame of the passenger conveying device is supported in a manner of being able to move relative to the building, and the passenger conveying device is provided with a slidable floor. The slidable floor is arranged to be able to slide relative to the building side. The slidable floor of the passenger conveying device is provided with a surface plate which is a walking surface of passengers, and a reinforcing structure supporting the back surface of the surface plate. The reinforcing structure is provided with a first gap and a second gap on two sides on the length direction of the main body frame, and when the main body frame moves along the length direction, the reinforcing structure can move by pushing force from the main body frame side.
