The invention discloses an adjusting device used for an automobile rearview mirror. The adjusting device comprises an upper cover (1), a base (6), an electric driving unit, a pin shaft (10), and a large gear (4), a chassis (7) and a spring (11) which sleeve the pin shaft (10) in sequence, wherein the electric driving unit is arranged in a cavity between the upper cover (1) and the base (6); a manual adjusting mechanism is arranged between the chassis (7) and the pin shaft (10), and can slide along the pin shaft (10) in a manual adjusting process to overcome the action of the spring (11) so that the chassis (7) can rotate relative to the pin shaft (10) when the base (6) is manually driven; a limiting mechanism for limiting the driving position of the rearview mirror is further arranged between the large gear (4) and the upper cover (1). The adjusting device has a simple structure and has no force applied to the electric driving unit in the manual adjusting process; the product has a longer service life and better reliability.
