The invention provides an automatic adjusting method of seat headrests, and is suitable for an automatic adjusting device. The automatic adjusting device comprises a pressure sensor arranged on a base of a driver seat, and an infrared tester arranged on a headrest of the driver seat. The automatic adjusting method comprises the following steps: detecting the weight of a human body by the pressure sensor, and outputting weight signals of the human body; detecting the neck position of the human body by the infrared tester, and outputting detection signals of the neck of the human body; converting the weight signals of the human body from an analog form into a digital form; receiving the weight signals of the human body and the neck signals of the human body through a single chip microcomputer, analyzing the weight signals of the human body and the neck signals of the human body through a prestored program, and outputting control signals; connecting an output shaft of a servo motor to the headrest, and driving the headrest to move in the vertical direction according to the control signals.
