The invention relates to a novel electric tricycle split rear axle. The novel electric tricycle split rear axle comprises a bowl point, axle pipes, half shafts and a differential mechanism. The bowl point comprises a bowl point body, wherein an opening is formed in one end face of the bowl point body, and a connection disc I is arranged at the end face of the bowl point body. Installation openings used for being connected with the axle pipes are symmetrically formed in the side walls of the bowl point. The differential mechanism comprises a drive shaft and a semi-closed box body outside an auxiliary shaft assembly, wherein the semi-closed box body is connected with a connection disc II which can be connected with the bowl point body. A differential mechanism assembly can be installed in the bowl point body. The bowl point and the semi-closed box body can be connected into a whole to form a complete differential case. A semi-closed structure is adopted for the differential mechanism of the rear axle, and lubricating oil of the differential mechanism is closed in the bowl point. The volume of the bowl point is large, the heat dissipation area is large, and therefore when an electric vehicle works, the temperature of the lubricating oil can not be high, no high pressure can be caused, and leakage of the lubricating oil is prevented. The bowl point is made of cast iron materials, strength and rigidity of the bowl point are greatly enhanced, and the shock absorption function and the noise reduction function of the bowl point are achieved.
