The invention relates to electric vehicles. An electric vehicle front axle with mounting seats comprises a main beam, wherein the main beam adopts a tubular structure, and the mounting seats are arranged at the two ends of the main beam; each mounting seat comprises a top wall, a vertical wall and a bottom wall, the upper end of the vertical wall is connected with the end, closing to the main beam, of the top wall, the lower end of the vertical wall is connected with the end, closing to the main beam, of the bottom wall, and the top wall, the vertical wall and the bottom wall are connected to form a U shape. According to the electric vehicle front axle with the mounting seats, and a machining method thereof, a connection part between a cavel shaft and the main beam has little possibility of deforming, and the main beam is light and has good collision resistance; problems that the connection part between the existing front axle cavel shaft and the main beam is likely to deform, and the main beam is heavy and has poor collision resistance, are solved.
