The invention discloses a partitioned two-dimensional coordinate numbering method for parking a place number of a parking lot. The method comprises the following steps: utilizing a mathematic concept of using two-dimensional coordinates to fix a point, and determining the parking place number according to row-queue two-dimensional coordinate data for the parking place in the parking area; as for a large-scale parking lot, a multilayered garage, an underground garage and the like, reasonably partitioning a plurality of parking areas, using colors or characteristic patterns as various area landmarks, and then respectively numbering the parking places in the parking areas according to the two-dimensional coordinate numbering method. The method is scientific, reasonable, accurate to position, and simple in rule, can improve the current situation that the numbering is random and not scientific or reasonable due to lack of the parking place numbering standard for the parking lot (garage), solves the problems that the parking places are difficult to position in the space, memorized or not prone to find out due to digital numbering, facilitates administrators to implement orderly management for a public parking lot, is favorable for people to quickly and efficiently find out the parking places, and saves time cost and energy of the public.
