The invention discloses a bus control method based on zigbee and relates to the technical field of bus control. The system comprises a single chip microcomputer, and a GPS (Global Position System) module, a GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) module, a smoke sensor, a pressure sensor, an angle sensor, a getting-off button, a voice promoting device, a power supply module and a driving mechanism which are connected with the single chip microcomputer, and an executing mechanism which is mounted in a bus box and is connected with the driving mechanism to be used for breaking glass; the single chip microcomputer is used for transmitting current position information of the bus to a monitoring center in a zigbee wireless manner; a station board of a bus station is provided with a display terminal for displaying how many stops the bus passes to arrive at the station. The bus control method has the advantages that the position information of the bus can be known very well; meanwhile, when the bus has the accidents, the glass of the bus can be broken by passengers; meanwhile, the position information of the bus is transmitted to an emergency center in a short message manner so that the escaping opportunity is increased.
