A fixing device of a bicycle steel cable comprises an outer ring cylinder and a pressing component. The outer ring cylinder is provided with a through assembling hole. A guiding incline is disposed on the wall of the assembling hole. The pressing component comprises a ring plate, an inner ring column and a spring, wherein the ring plate is assembled at one end of the inner ring column and provided with a lock hole, the other end of the inner ring column penetrates from one end, without the guiding incline, of the outer ring cylinder and moves relative to the outer ring cylinder, the inner ring column is provided with a through hole, the through hole is communicated with the assembling hole of the outer ring cylinder and the lock hole of the ring plate, a plurality of via holes communicated with the through hole are further formed in the outer peripheral side of the inner ring column and in one end, opposite to the end with the ring plate, of the inner ring column, a ball is disposed in each via hole, the balls are pushed by the guiding incline to move in the via holes when the inner ring column moves relative to the outer ring cylinder, and the spring sleeves the inner ring column and located between the balls and the ring plate. The fixing device has the advantages that a bicycle rider can conveniently, fast and simply adjust the tightness of the brake and the speed changing steel cable of a bicycle.
