The invention belongs to the field of an electric bicycle, in particular to an electric bicycle with two adjacent wheels. The electric bicycle comprises a front wheel, a rear wheel, a front fork, a rear fork, a handle, a saddle, pedals, a hub type motor, a lithium battery and an electric bicycle controller, wherein the front wheel and the rear wheel are close to reduce the length of the electric bicycle, the diameter of the front wheel is greater than that of the rear wheel, and the diameter of the rear wheel is greater than 35cm; by adopting either a front wheel driving way or a rear wheel driving way of the hub type motor, the saddle is arranged in the middle of the vehicle body nearby the inclined upper part of the rear wheel and is lightly lower, the two pedals are respectively located at the lower parts of the two sides of the front wheel, and the pedals are fixed below the front fork through a support frame; when the electric bicycle is taken, the handle can be rotated backwards for approximately 180 degrees, therefore the length of the bicycle body can be reduced; in addition, the fixed pedals or the folding pedals can be adopted.
