The invention discloses an engine hood aligning mechanism comprising a lower left link and a lower right link capable of horizontally moving relative to each other. The reverse ends, which are connected, of the lower left link and lower right link are provided with a vehicle body positioning pin and a positioning block, respectively; the vehicle body positioning pin can be fixed to a vehicle body to be assembled; the positioning block can be fixed to a reference plane of the vehicle body to be assembled. An upper link is disposed above the lower left link and the lower right link. Two ends of the upper link are provided with engine hood positioning pins which are fitted to reference holes of an engine hood to be assembled; an aligning mechanism used for adjusting distances between a middle fulcrum, which supports the upper link, and the vehicle body positioning pins is disposed between the lower left link and the lower right link. The engine hood aligning mechanism has the advantages that the engine hood can be aligned after a deviation occurs to the transverse direction of a vehicle body, the engine hood can be quickly mounted, simple, applicable and safe assembly is achieved, engine hood mounting precision is guaranteed, and appearance quality of the vehicle body is guaranteed.
