The invention discloses an intelligent traffic smoothing method in urban inland inundation. The intelligent traffic smoothing method comprises the following steps: acquiring rainwater accumulation depth data of an early stage and a rain stage by aligning a camera to a water gauge by using an urban road rainwater accumulation acquisition recognition monitoring system, comparing and analyzing, thereby obtaining the rainwater accumulation depth of a rainwater accumulation point, evaluating the road rainwater accumulation situation, analyzing and evaluating trend of the rainwater accumulation depth of a rainwater accumulation area with the combination of inland inundation rainwater data of years, and transmitting a water level graph and rainwater accumulation depth information to an urban drainage management system; transmitting the road rainwater accumulation information to an intelligent urban traffic management system through the urban drainage management system; transmitting a fitting scheme with relatively high optimization degree to an urban traffic management center though the urban drainage management system, thereby determining an optimal traffic scheduling scheme. By adopting the method, roads can be smoothed in time, and orderly operation of cities can be ensured.
