The invention discloses a pulsating screw propeller. The pulsating screw propeller is formed by 3 to 15 groups of propellers which are distributed with intervals; every propeller is formed by 10 to 300 blades; the ratio of length and width of every blade is 20 to 100 to 1. The pulsating screw propeller improves the ship propulsive efficiency substantially, reduces the engine power substantially under the same navigational speed, reduces the engine size and weight, reduces the fuel oil consumption, reduces exhaust emission, is particularly suitable for ships navigating in high speed, solves the problem that the high-speed ships are low in navigational efficiency, meanwhile reduces the energy consumption, saves time, is applicable to aircraft and can greatly reduce energy consumption and reduce atmospheric pollution.
