The invention discloses a super deep floating type drilling multifunctional energy-saving type heavy compensation winch and an operation method thereof. The super deep floating type drilling multifunctional energy-saving type heavy compensation winch comprises a roller, a plurality of hydraulic roller motors, a reducing mechanism, an oil tank, at least two direct-drive pump source mechanisms, a check valve, a pump source reversing valve, at least two hydraulic transformers, an accumulator group, an accumulator group safety valve, a brake reversing valve and a hydraulic control brake mechanism; the hydraulic roller motors are used for driving the roller to rotate, the reducing mechanism is used for reducing output speed of the hydraulic roller motors, and T ports of the hydraulic roller motors are connected with the oil tank.
