The invention discloses a nursery stock hoisting and swinging method based on a crawler-type agricultural vehicle. The nursery stock hoisting and swinging method comprises the steps of pressing a control button for controlling a first motor to forwards rotate, and operating the first motor to drive a support frame to rotate to ensure that a pothook rotates to the side of a vehicle; pressing a control button for controlling a second motor to forwards rotate, and operating the second motor to drive a take-up reel to pay off to ensure that the pothook moves downwards; after an article is hooked by the pothook, pressing a control button for controlling the second motor to reversely rotate, and enabling the pothook to move upwards to hoist the article; then, pressing a control button for controlling the first motor to reversely rotate, and returning the pothook to the upside of a headstock; and then, pressing the control button for controlling the second motor to forwards rotate, and putting down the article to finish the hoisting and swinging work. The nursery stock hoisting and swinging method has the advantages of convenience in nursery stock hoisting and swinging on a mountainous region and simplicity in operation.
