The invention discloses a forced landing protection device of an elevator. A hauling rope is driven by a motor to haul a lifting cabin of the elevator to move upwards. A first electromagnet and a second electromagnet are installed on the two sides of the hauling rope respectively and are oppositely installed. Opposite faces of the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet are arc. The first electromagnet and the second electromagnet are fixed to a wall through a first spring, and the wall is provided with a guide column. A gravity acceleration sensor is fixedly installed on the hauling rope and is connected with a controller. The first electromagnet and the second electromagnet are connected with a power source through a switch, and the switch is connected with the controller. The first electromagnet and the second electromagnet can generate magnetic force through electrification, and are attracted to each other to clamp the hauling rope. When the elevator is in a gravity-free condition, the hauling rope can be clamped through the magnetic force opposite in polarity of the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet, falling of the lifting cabin of the elevator can be retarded, and safety of people can be protected.
