The invention provides a piston type helicopter engine for saving life by using a disposable servo sub-disc. The engine adopts a main and auxiliary double-engine combined manner. The servo sub-disc taking an auxiliary engine as a core and a main engine of a driving rotor wing adopt a separable structure. When the main engine and the auxiliary engine are combined, the potential of the main engine can be sufficiently expressed. The matching of properties of a pneumatic rotor ring with the main engine is promoted. Meanwhile, the production process requirements on the engine can be lowered. When faults occur, the rotor wing can be properly and rapidly separated to enter an autorotation state. Meanwhile, the servo sub-disc is reliably abandoned and the autorotation landing frequency is reduced so that the safety autorotation landing life saving is guaranteed. The helicopter of the servo sub-disc is mainly used for executing the flight tasks of flight training, engineering hanging and highland freight supplying. The technology has good fault inclusiveness on the engine and a transmission part. The bottlenecks of modern helicopters that the high-reliability requirements on the parts are high, the helicopter is used at high risks and the industry development is hindered are changed.
