The invention provides a ship stern tube bearing dismounting method. A ship stern tube dismounting tool is utilized to perform dismounting of a bearing in a ship stern tube. The ship stern tube bearing dismounting method comprises the steps of manufacturing and preparing the dismounting tool, scattering dry ices into a bearing hole, installing the dismounting tool, dismounting the dismounting tool and taking out the bearing. The ship stern tube bearing dismounting method is low in construction difficulty, simple in tool manufacture and low in cost, and the tool can be repeatedly used, is convenient to operate and good in using effect and is suitable for application of the ship stern tube bearing dismounting method under multiple environment conditions.
