The invention discloses a strengthened pantograph compound carbon contact strip with a carbon fiber veneer and a manufacturing method of the strengthened pantograph compound carbon contact strip. The strengthened pantograph compound carbon contact strip used for electric locomotives and high-speed motor train units comprises a pantograph compound carbon contact strip body structure composed of carbon strips and an aluminum bracket, carbon fiber grid cloth tightly attached to the side face of the pantograph compound carbon contact strip body structure and an alloy carbon face layer tightly attached to the outer side of the carbon fiber grid cloth, wherein metal powder permeates into the internal tissue of the carbon fiber grid cloth. According to the strengthened pantograph compound carbon contact strip, carbon fiber high-electric-conduction sticking faces are arranged on the two side faces of the pantograph compound carbon contact strip body to form the strengthened pantograph compound carbon contact strip which has higher strength, higher electric conduction performance, higher toughness, higher impact resistance, higher crack resistance and higher block falling prevention performance than a carbon contact strip formed by carbon strips and an aluminum bracket, and the strengthened pantograph compound carbon contact strip is suitable for operation at the speed of 380 kg/h or higher.
