The invention relates to an infrared induction vehicle detector, wherein the infrared induction vehicle detector at least comprises a display, and a vehicle detector; the display is fixed at the entrance of a parking space for displaying the vehicle parking status in the entrance; the vehicle detector is used for detecting whether a vehicle is in the parking space, used for sending information about whether a vehicle is in the parking space to the display. The infrared induction vehicle detector has the advantages that, the display is fixed at the entrance of the parking space for displaying the vehicle parking status in the entrance; the vehicle detector is arranged at the parking space, used for detecting whether a vehicle is in the parking space, used for sending information about whether a vehicle is in the parking space to the display. Therefore, when a vehicle enters the entrance of the parking space, whether to enter the parking space to park the vehicle can be determined by the information displayed on the display.
