The invention discloses a taxi calling system comprising a microprocessor, a recording unit, a storage unit, and a GPS terminal. The microprocessor is connected with the recording unit, the storage unit and the GPS terminal. The taxi control system further comprises a radio frequency receiver, and wireless transmitters of which each is arranged at a bus stop. The radio frequency receiver receives frequency band signals of the wireless transmitters around in real time. Once there is a taxi taking signal, the radio frequency receiver plays the signal through voice and tells the location of a passenger. The GPS terminal is mounted on taxies, and a dispatching center selects a most appropriate taxi according to the distance between each taxi and a passenger calculated by the GPS terminal when the passenger dials a taxi calling number. More importantly, the radio frequency receiver is mounted on taxies, and can receive taxi taking signals around in real time and monitor the taxi taking demand around. The taxi calling system has the characteristics of simple structure and convenient use.
