The invention discloses a motor train unit shaft temperature alarm system and method, and belongs to the technical field of motor train unit control. The motor train unit shaft temperature alarm method includes the following steps that a central processor is connected with a temperature collecting module through an RS 485 bus in the collecting process, obtains temperature change information of PT100 sensors at detected positions, processes the temperature change information internally, and outputs working states and the temperature information of the sensors through a current loop or an MVB interface, and a switching value alarm signal is output through an IO port; meanwhile, recorded data are stored in the blank of a ferroelectric memory of a set size and transferred into NAND Flash to be stored after reaching 128 K, and therefore completeness of the data can be effectively improved, and the service life of the NAND Flash can be effectively prolonged. The temperature information of the detected positions can be fed in real time, controllability and operability can be improved, a false alarm can be further prevented, and the safety of a train is improved.
