The invention provides an air energy hydraulic hybrid urban bus which mainly comprises an engine and a bus chassis, and belongs to the field of transportation vehicles. The air energy hydraulic hybrid urban bus is characterized in that signals are input into an electrical control system (8) through a gear and clutch state detection device (9) and an accelerator pedal (7), a hydraulic system valve group block (10) is controlled to act, the pressure oil in an air compression tank (5) is conveyed to an inlet of an oil motor/oil pump (12), the oil motor (12) of a torque extraction window arranged on a gear box (3) is driven, and bus wheels (14) are driven by the gear box (3) to rotate; the kinetic energy generated in the braking process or the surplus energy in the economical working condition of the engine is recycled and converted to hydraulic energy to serve as an auxiliary power source, and an auxiliary hydraulic power system and a main power system of the engine are connected in parallel and gathered to the gear box. The system energy accumulation or energy discharging function is achieved through bus running state detection according to the will of a driver, and the dual purposes that the energy is saved, and the environment is protected are achieved.
