The invention relates to an aircraft carrier airplane boost catapult launch method. The method adopts components of a booster (12), a groove (3), an arresting cable (24) and a flame piloting baffle (2). The method has the advantages that the electric power is not consumed; the structure is simple, the manufacture and maintenance are easy, and the usage is convenient; an airplane (10) with larger mass can be launched; the preparation time of launching the airplane (10) is short, and the airplane (10) is launched rapidly; even the booster (12) is damaged, the damaged booster can be replaced with a backup rapidly, and the fighting capacity of an aircraft carrier is not influenced; the energy is not consumed when the airplane is not launched, and the launch efficiency is high; when an unmanned aerial vehicle is launched, the unmanned aerial vehicle can not be damaged; airplanes (10) with different airplane wheel base can be launched.
