The invention discloses an electronic lock used for a motorcycle. The electronic lock used for the motorcycle comprises a plastic outer box body and a closed plastic inner box body. A metal lock tongue and a drive assembly are arranged in the outer box body. The drive assembly comprises a motor, a metal transmission mechanism and a motor steering control module. A main control panel is fixed in the inner box body. The metal transmission mechanism is coated with a protective film. The protective film is composed of, by weight, 1.6 parts of oxidized petrolatum barium soap, 22 parts of polyester resin, 0.9 part of chromic chloride, 1-2 parts of styrene-acrylic, 0.4 part of graphite powder, 0.9 part of titanium dioxide, 1-2 parts of normal-butyl naphthalene sulfonic acid sodium salt and 2-3 parts of sodium tripolyphosphate. The electronic lock used for the motorcycle has a unique mechanical design and a unique electronic design; the metal transmission mechanism is coated with the protective film, so long-term use of the metal transmission mechanism can be guaranteed, and it is ensured that the lock tongue is effectively driven.
