The invention discloses a wireless shunting locomotive signal and monitoring system and method based on Beidou satellite navigation. The system comprises ground equipment and vehicle-mounted equipment, wherein the ground equipment comprises a ground host, a differential base station host, a ground differential base station Beidou antenna and a data transmission unit, wherein the differential base station host is connected with the ground differential base station Beidou antenna, the ground host is respectively connected with the differential base station host and the data transmission unit, the vehicle-mounted equipment comprises a vehicle-mounted host, a monitoring host, a wireless data transmission module and a display, the ground differential base station Beidou antenna and a vehicle-mounted Beidou antenna receive a satellite longitude and latitude coordinate, the differential base station host carries out differential calculation on the received information to obtain differential data, and the differential data is sent to the vehicle-mounted host through the wireless data transmission module; the vehicle-mounted host is connected with the monitoring host through a bus, and the monitoring host is connected with the display. The system and the method provided by the invention effectively solve the problems of automatic operation field recognition difficulty after STP (satellite tracking program) system booting, concentration area poor locomotive position loss, non-concentration locomotive dynamic marking difficulty, clock asynchronism and the like.
