The invention relates to an electronic stop board service product for obtaining the running position information of public traffic vehicles through a mobile phone. The information service product is used for a stop without public traffic vehicle electronic stop board constructing condition to obtain the data on the distance between the next unreached vehicle of all lines of the stop and the stop in real time by mobile phone wireless data communication and the predicted stop arriving time. A passenger uses the mobile phone to scan and recognize the public traffic vehicle stop bar code number or input the stop number, transmits the public traffic vehicle stop bar code number to a telecom operator data link gateway, and transmits a short message or data request to a vehicle dispatching center. The vehicle dispatching center responds in real time, inquires all lines passing through the stop, obtains the distance between the unreached vehicle nearest to the stop and the stop through position information provided by a public traffic vehicle GPS, and feeds a distance value back to the mobile phone sending the request. The passenger hereby learns the distance between the next vehicle of all lines of the stop and the stop at the moment and the predicted stop arriving time, and a traveling line is conveniently selected.
